My mom was in ICU for most of the summer a few years back and almost died when they gave her meds she was allergic to, despite the bracelet on her wrist. We were able to have her transferred to a hospital where she got better care, thank G-d. I too went back & forth between my Mom & 4 kids (8 & under) who were home with my cousin (G-d bless her). Try to take a walk, do something for yourself...for 20 minutes or an hour, even if it seems impossible. I don't know your Mom but something tells me she might say the same thing in her 'usual'state.
I continue to keep her in my prayersTanya Toledanohttp://www.montrealmom.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6670201345837905864.post-76906583382923052962012-06-10T16:00:33.845-04:002012-06-10T16:00:33.845-04:00You're mother was one heck of a mother to earn...You're mother was one heck of a mother to earn this devotion from a daughter.

What a testament YOU are to HER.Alexandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00609629888008025050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6670201345837905864.post-55502763942000646952012-06-10T15:12:26.957-04:002012-06-10T15:12:26.957-04:00I'm so sorry. I know many amazing nurses, but the ones who are oblivious, uncaring, or totally overworked can miss the obvious - like someone whose gas pain could be relieved by a simple, harmless med. There is NO way your mother should be in such pain for so long. Good for you for being a PITA to the nurses who weren't paying attention. And, I know you appreciate the nurses who HAVE given your mother good care. I hope your mother feels better and is in a good frame of mind when you see her next. . . .Laurelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04643361492814168664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6670201345837905864.post-38073443050517460562012-06-10T10:22:01.949-04:002012-06-10T10:22:01.949-04:00You're a good girl. You're a good girl.SUEB0Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16301963922769609715noreply@blogger.com
